Game, set, and match! ๐ŸŽพ

Open is a personal and transparent autobiography. Forced by his father, Agassi had no other path than to become a professional tennis player, but in his own way. Written colloquially in first person, Agassi shares his most intimate thoughts and feelings, as he narrates the ups, downs, loops, and turns of his lifeโ€™s rollercoaster and love/hate relationship with tennis๐ŸŽข.

๐ŸŽ“ Three things I have learned from this book:

1. Professional athletes can hate their job.
2. Feeling and being part of a #team can have a massive influence in oneโ€™s success.
3. We are responsible for our own choices. Go after what you want to achieve. If you fail, learn, get up, and go at it.

My rating: 4๏ธโƒฃ out 5๏ธโƒฃ. Even if tennis is not your favorite sport, there are some parallelisms and takeaways that can be reflected upon ๐Ÿง.

๐Ÿค” Reflection for you: How much do you love your profession? What could you change to love what you do?
